Jeff Johnson has a natural musical intuition that is among the strongest of any writer / producer / musician I’ve met in my life. His ability to pull a melody out of the air and apply it powerfully in a song is remarkable. He is a passionate producer who cares a great deal about his work and does a great job both at developing new artists to help them find their sound, and at lifting up existing artists with new takes on their work. To be very frank, I don’t believe I would have my career in music if I hadn’t met Jeff. We wrote my first hit songs and toured across the country going from early morning radio station visits to playing sold out arenas with Shania Twain, with some good laughs in between.
